Mādhavi latā Devi Dāsī
She lived and studied in numerous countries, where she became acquainted with the world of different cultures and traditions. Her attraction to the arts especially blossomed in Florence, Italy, where she lived for more than 9 years. The city’s artistic heritage had a deep impact on her, and it was there that she discovered the magic of working with clay. During her time there, she learned many artistic techniques.
The touch, scent, and form of clay give her a special and calming experience. For her, it is not merely a material, but a means to create something beautiful, practical, or sentimental. While creating, she pours her soul into the pieces she makes, which can thus become expressions of love, respect, and the glorification of nature or God.
