New Vraja Dhama, Hungary
This year’s European Farm Conference will be hosted at New Vraja Dhama in Hungary. Spanning 324 hectares, the farm is home to 70 cows and oxen and features a diverse range of sustainable practices. It includes a 1.2-hectare vegetable garden, a 3-hectare orchard, and 50 hectares dedicated to grains such as wheat, barley, rye, oats, alfalfa, and corn. A 1,000 m² flower garden provides blooms for garlands offered to the Deities, and 25 beehives support honey production. The farm also maintains 125 hectares of forest, supplying firewood for heating and cooking, and is home to the Syama Handmade workshop, where naturally dyed, handmade textiles are created using traditional methods.

Plan your visit
Register for the Farm Conference by selecting one of the following options and paying the attendance fee:
- Conference and prasadam* only.
- Conference, prasadam* and accommodation**
* Prasadam includes breakfast-lunch-dinner on the 25th, 26th and 27th.
** Accommodation can be selected for 2, 3 or 4 nights. Prasadam for 2- and 3-night stays will cover the full duration of the conference (25–27). For 4-night stays, prasadam will also include dinner on the 24th and breakfast on the 28th.
Conference fee including prasadam for the full 3 days per person: 29,550 HUF (approx. 73 Euro)
FAQ
What if I do not need accommodation? Is there only a participation fee?
Yes. The participation fee covers the full conference program as well as prasadam (meals) for all three days, 25th, 26th, and 27th.
When registering, please select “None” in the accommodation fields and choose only one participant.
If more than one participant is attending and arranging their own accommodation, enter the number of participants you are paying for in the number field next to the “Add to Cart” button.
When do the conference seminars and workshops begin?
The first day of the conference is September 25th. We recommend arriving either early that morning, so you can join us for breakfast and attend the first seminar, or the night before, on September 24th.

What is the best way to get from Budapest Airport to New Vraja Dhama?
New Vraja Dhama is approximately a 2-hour drive from Budapest.
1. Private Transfer (Recommended for Convenience)
We can arrange a direct transfer from the Budapest Airport to New Vraja Dhama:
- Regular car (up to 4 people with light luggage / 3 with larger luggage): 56,000 HUF per direction
- Minivan (up to 8 passengers): 68,200 HUF per direction

2. Public Transportation (Budget Option)
You can also travel by train from Déli or Kelenföld train stations in Budapest. Your destination is Somogyvár, and the journey typically involves two train changes. The cost is about 4,000 HUF/person.
From Somogyvár, you have two options:
- Local bus to Somogyvámos (runs 2–3 times per day—please plan accordingly)
- Pickup service from Somogyvár train station: 3,600 HUF per direction

Accommodation
You’re welcome to stay at our guesthouse or arrange your own accommodation. If you choose to stay with us, you can book either 3 nights (arriving early morning on the 25th) or 4 nights (arriving the afternoon of the 24th). In both cases, departure is on the 28th.
